- I am working in my 2nd book: A Christian fiction novel. I have submitted queries to several publishers and was even invited to submit my manuscript to one. I have a few questions. Since I self-published my first book, I want to make sure that this company is reputable. It is called Publish America. Have you ever heard of it? They don't charge to publish. The entire publishing process is "free." They claim that they make all of their money from distributing and actually selling the books. It sounds a little phoney to me. Can you help?
