Starting a Blog Tour Alliance

Hi, all.

Thank those of you who attended and participated in the ACFW-VIP Online Writer's Conference. We discussed a great deal. One thing that stood out is the possibility of authors and readers forming a blog tour alliance. There are many out there, but not one large enough to make a huge impact on Google ranks and technorati tags. This group is 33 members strong. We are paced to double by year end. Imagine a blog alliance of multicultural christian readers and writers banned together to promote each others books the week of our release dates would be a great and free marketing opportunity. Please consider and pray about this possibility. Hey, I definitely agree. There are many multicultural books being featured in the current blog alliances I'm a member of now. I'm more than willing to participate. Let me know.

A blog alliance would be great. I think the problem are the books. Most authors can't afford to send out 30 books. Now if they can get their publishers to send the books out. A blog alliance would be very successful. You can count me in for my two blogs.

That sounds great y'all. I agree, Lashaunda. In September I will be hosting a free teleseminar about the marketing plan and how to use it to create a budget, and complete your final draft. I will discuss the need for books. Most publishers give the author a case of books. That case could be used for the blog tour.
